Political cookie
A sugar cookie with an icing flavored with hope and with a dash of change.

The cookies were part of Porto’s cookie election: buy either a donkey to support Obama or an elephant for McCain. The elephant cookies looked crumbly, stale, disappointing and appeared to be the same old, same old.

Both those cookies must be half-baked. The Donkeys and the Elephants are serving up S. sandwiches, and Americans are still lining up to buy them. There is no accounting for taste.

Jenn–Actually I shared the cookie with Paul and had the butt end. So guess what my part tasted like.Anonymous–Well I suppose I could have chosen neither and made a statement. But really, who does that help? I wanted a cookie.

Roger–Thanks!!Jennifer–No, unfortunately it's only of the two major parties. I would have loved to have seen a Whig cookie.
