This sounds wonderful. Smoked paprika has such a depth of flavour that can really bring a dish to life. La Chinata is a good one and I was always pick it up when I see a can in the store because it is not widely available here.

You can find La Chinata at Amazon.com. I haven't found it anywhere in San Diego but I'll let you know. I've seen a Spanish spice stand at the Sunday Hillcrest Farmer's market but don't know what they're like. OMG. If I could snuff the stuff up straight -- I would!

Heh... Penii. Stay tuned for the next post.

What a great recipe! I will have to make this soon. I do have some chicken in the freezer waiting to be made into something delicious and this fits the bill. I love smoked paprika. Where can you get that brand, La Chinata? I got my smoked paprika at Pata Negra, but it was a small tin. I recently found out I could get smoked paprika at Fresh and Easy.

Speaking of pasta shapes - I was at a bachelorette party years ago and one of the "prizes" was a package of penis shaped pasta. Penii? Imagine serving that up on a plate, haha.

Ah! Did you make the chocolates from the Star Wars mold from the Secret Santa at Christmas? That was my wrapped gift I picked up from Comic-Con last year!

As for the pasta, I believe I picked that up from Cost Plus. Unfortunately, the color of the pink heart pasta was diluted after it was cooked. Oh well.

Valentine's Day is really an over commercialized hype of a "holiday". But, it's still kinda tugs at my little heartstrings. Love the heart pasta! Where'd you pick it up from? My valentine will be getting star wars chocolates. I meant to make them yesterday, but oops - time got away from me.
