With Thanksgiving over, the start of Hanukkah has arrived and Christmas is a mere 23 days away. The revelry has begun. What is a celebration of the holidays without food?
Here is a rundown of events in San Diego starting tomorrow. Be sure to bring some cash.
Balboa Park’s December Nights
Tomorrow, 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday, December 4, noon-9 p.m.
Participating museums are free and you’ll lose count at how many people are wearing Santa hats as you wander the promenade. Stay away from the $4 egg nog — it comes from a carton.
San Elijo Hills Food Fest
Tomorrow, beginning at 4 p.m.
Instead of chasing down the food trucks, most of them will be here in one location, including Ahn-Joo, Barbie’s Q, Barcelona on the Go and Chomp Chomp Nation.
Am I missing something? Your party perhaps? Let me know!
Check out what I ate at 2007’s December Nights here.
Or read a rundown of food trucks I’ve tried here.
$4 Eggnog from a carton? You should carry some in a flask.
How about Old Town San Diego State Historic Park’s Victorian Tea?
Thanks, Bethany! Great recommendation.
