I’m still recovering from my weekend in Northern California. The drive itself was exhausting: left Los Angeles at 11 p.m. and didn’t get into the Bay Area until almost 5 a.m. the following morning. The reason for the rush? To attend APE (Alternative Press Expo) in San Francisco. Picked up a few independent books and met some people that live in the Los Angeles area. Hopefully can meet them for food soon because everyone needs to eat.
Speaking of eating, I finally got myself a clown cone from Baskin Robbins. In Sacramento of all places!
A summer ago, I was obsessed with getting a clown cone. I had called all Baskin Robbins stores in the San Diego area determined to get one but no one offered them although they were still on the menu. So in Sacramento, my childhood wish was fullfilled. I was a happy camper and had certain joy eating the face off this guy.
Before heading back to Los Angeles, filled with caffeine at Java City in Sacramento. This cool coffee shop is approximately a few blocks away from the state capital. Great coffee and cool view.
