So after a day of thinking it over during a haze of cold medicine, I’ve decided to hire a personal trainer. The exact length is for 10 weeks for $200. Sure, it’s a lot of cash but during the course of that time, I will have access to a gym, meet the trainer for 30 min. each week to go over my goals and correct any mishaps that may have happened since I last time we met.
The thing that really interested me was the initial consultation. The trainer will analyze my lifestyle, how many calories it will take to keep my current weight and adjustments to lose weight and build muscle. I could probably tell myself right now to reduce the amount I’m eating and get out and run if I want to lose weight. But I want it to be a lifestyle change especially now I’ve officially over the big 3-0 and feel my body changing.
I hope the initial meeting isn’t too much of shock to me. I first have to get over the fear of stepping on a scale.
On a side note, I don’t see how a lizard gets more blog hits than this. Wonders never cease.
A personal trainer? That seems like a good idea to me. Anything to keep ya motivated. As for the lizard… I didn't know you had this blog too. I will visit here more often.
