Will there be a Pretty in Pink sequel?!?? Since junior high when I first saw it, my tastes have changed from having a crush on Blaine to Duckie. Since then, I also realized that Andrew McCarthy is a really, REALLY bad actor.

(laughing) i never saw the whole movie, i was so annoyed that it was all filmed in venice and santa monica–wasn't it set in chicago or something? i worked at a record store down the street from where annie potts' record store was filmed (it's at the end of third street promenade, btw). the set designer did such a good job creating the shop that we were sure a new shop was going to come in and put us out of business. i guess that's where the annoyance really started.i hope james spader comes back as his character in secretary. after all, isn't maggie gyllenhaal the new molly ringwald?
