San Diego institution Milton’s Restaurant has had bread on the market for a while and they recently started producing crackers. The crackers are based on the same formula that makes their bread healthy: incorporating multigrains with organic wheat, corn and oats.
Milton’s offers five varieties of crackers and they’re all multi-grain: the original (based on their bread), chocolate, honey, blueberry and honey and corn.
All crackers are uniquely different. Everything except the original multi-grain were on the sweet side. The standout was the blueberry cracker with real blueberry bits seen in each piece; it tasted just like a blueberry muffin. And if you like the taste of corn bread, the honey and corn is the one for you. It was not surprising that the honey cracker was just like a honey graham. I was looking forward to the chocolate but it was the most disappointing of the batch. The cocoa powder on each cracker was off-putting; it won’t have me grabbing for these any time I get a chocolate craving. With all the sweet crackers, my suggestion for Milton’s is to replace the chocolate multi-grain cracker with something cheese-based.
If you need to check out these crackers for yourself, here’s your chance. Leave a comment with your favorite snack. One commenter will be randomly chosen and Milton’s will send out all five boxes to your home. Giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Giveaway ends September 1. Good luck!
