For one night only, the Convoy District will be hosting its very own night market on Saturday, September 28 starting at 5 p.m. This event will held in the Zion Market parking lot on the corner of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. and Convoy, will feature food vendors, entertainment and merchandise.
San Diego Night Market is modeled after night markets at bigger cities like the wildly successful 626 Night Market in Los Angeles but the only difference with this event is that parking and attendance is free without a road trip.
So far the list of confirmed vendors includes:
- May’s Kitchen Bab Lao Lao
- Ed’s Filipino Cuisine
- Wow Wow Waffle
- Pho Realz
- Ice Blast
- Satay
- Cali Baguette
- SuperNatural Sandwiches
- Boba 7
- Pangea Bakery
- Paper Creations
- SD Fix IT
- KingdomCulture Apparel
A beer garden is also planned and more vendors are signing up. I’m looking forward to this event and hope it’s successful for future night markets. If you want to be a part of it, they’re still looking for volunteers to help out.

I wish I was going to be here for it! I’m hoping its successful, too, so they’ll do it again when I can go.
