Syrup and candy

There’s not much I can add about this year’s Comic Con. The event took over downtown for a few days and luckily I didn’t have to travel too far to help my fiance at his booth.

There were no lack of pirates and the whole Lords of the Rings phase has died out due to the lack of people dressed as elves and rangers. I won’t give much of a wrap-up, but I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

But on the way to the convention, I did snap a photo of a teen with a bag of candy and a bottle of syrup attached to either side of his backpack. If this doesn’t illustrate how some people managed to survive this monster event, nothing will.

Syrup and candy
Mmm… syrup….
